Concerns regarding Water Tower, Storage, and Flushing.... No additional flushing is required at this time. All City water from Treatment Plant Storage, Water Towers, and Distribution Mains is bacteria free and safe to consume. The various tests and samples required by the EPA that were taken on Thursday and Monday prove that. Everything is and safe there should be no reason for the Public to have any concerns.

Update @ 11:18. I was contacted by Kyle, that he has received word that we should have final results at some point tomorrow January 14th in the morning. The EPA did finally call and gave us the update that we will have final results tomorrow morning. As of 11:00 a.m. this morning, the City of Clinton is still under a boil order. We have attempted to contact the Illinois EPA multiple times this morning for an update regarding the test results that were sent last Thursday. We were supposed to of had an official report by Friday end up day or Saturday. Nobody from the EPA has contacted us or returned our phone calls at this time. The boil order is still in effect until we receive the official word from the EPA. I am truly sorry that we cannot get this rectified any sooner. We truly are doing our best. -Johnny Wise. Water Commissioner
