Our water bills are changing! Due to price increases and difficulties processing and delivering the postcard bills, we are switching to a full-size paper bill effective with the bills mailed at the end of March. A sample new style bill is shown below.
In addition to giving us the ability to send out extra flyers and informational inserts, changing to full-size letter bills means your bill is less likely to be lost, damaged, or destroyed before it gets to you in
the mail, as it will now be delivered in a regular envelope. This change will not impact how payments are handled, whether someone is on auto-pay, or due dates. It is only a change in how the bill is delivered to the home. Anyone desiring to no longer receive a paper bill may sign up for our paperless billing anytime by emailing us at CITYHALL@CLINTONILLINOIS.COM or by calling the Water Department during business hours.
If you have any questions about the new bill format, please contact the Water Department at 217-935-3432 Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we transition to the new format.
