The District also offers a unique “Pre-K3” program for three-year-olds. Teachers regularly visit the child’s home with various activities, books, toys, and ideas. Two Clinton preschool and daycare centers serve the needs of working parents and preschool youngsters.
More than 550 students are enrolled at Clinton Junior High School, making the transition from the four elementary schools. Clinton Senior High students choose from some 165 different courses, including 17 agribusiness and agricultural courses. Qualified juniors and seniors can enroll in college-level courses at Richland College while in high school.
A variety of extracurricular clubs and organizations include sports teams, which have won several conferences and regional championships. Approximately 75 percent of high school graduates continue their education at a technical college, college, or university; nearly 10 percent make it to the Illinois State Scholars list.
